ABTSRACT
In manufacturing organizations, the need for inventory control is very necessary because of the need to verify the accuracy of stock records with physical stock records.
Moreover, an inventory on its control of stock deals with identification of every items of stock in the store, the management wishes to ensure that any point in time, the capital of the business is not necessarily tied down in form of materials in store that will provide opportunity for fraud and theft.
This project has been properly designed within the scope of five chapters. It centers its attention on the cove area Okin Biscuits Industry Offa. Kwara State.
The first chapter covers short introduction to the project statement of the problem, objectives of the study methodology and finally rounded off with historical background of the company.
The second chapter embodies the literature review in which all information got from different text books were gathered together. This information are basically on the topic of the project is the control inventory in manufacturing firms.
Chapter three shows the data collection in the work primary source of the collection is used. Chapter Four shows the data presentation and analysis according. The last chapter i.e. chapter Five covers summary, conclusion and recommendation.
